Counting Down the Days!

I am now offically homeless living out of my car and sleeping in my old house (while the girls have graciously agreed to let me stay) while I await my departure next Saturday. That is less than a week away! I am excited and not VERY nervous because I know that is where God wants me, but I must admit it is going to be hard to leave here. I have great friends that I won't be able to see any time I want! However, I am sure they will visit (hint, hint) and I have two weddings I am flying back for to be in that will also give me an excuse to see friends.
Have you ever tried to fit almost everything you have into your car? I seriously thought it would be much easier than it is proving to be...I have seriously clothes (which aren't many), my camping gear (which is a lot) and some books, toiletries and a loom Dad made me along with the yarn mom gave me and my bedding and we are sitting tight! Mom, pack light when you come down to drive with me! :)
I have also realized that I have 4 sick days still to use that I will lose if I do not use them. Therefore, I am taking tomorrow off work to get some odds and ends tied up and then we'll see from there. Not too cool to be missing the last week of school, but the kids are so high on their own adreneline that I don't really think they totally know what is going on around them. If you haven't seen crazy kids before, you haven't been in a school during its last week before summer! They are NUTS! Us teachers are just holding on because we are a little nuts too..therefore drinks after work are getting to be more and more frequent! Stay tuned for updates when I arrive in Wyoming!
