"Over the Headge" and packaged food

Ok, so my friend Jessica and I just went and saw Over the Hedge, a great kid's movie! It was fun to get out and splurge a bit on $4 popcorn (which is so not worth it) and be in a theater full of kids! It was a cute movie, but the writer must be very cynical and disgusted with our consumption of prepackaged food and the way we "worship" it! It really is ridiculous how much crap we eat and hardly even think about it. Crackers, cookies, cheetos (which my kids at school consume by the truckfull), and the list goes on... Lots of subliminal messages that tell kids to eat healthy stuff, so that is great! Anyway, I walked out of the theater, past the snack counter and wanted to barf! I think I am totally ready for this outdoor, wilderness, organic food that is made from scratch....or something close to it. Maybe I really am a hippie....;)
