Cool ways God works...

At the ranch this week we watched this awesome video that should be shown in every high school called, "Romance without Regret" - a chastity talk by Jason and Crystalina Evert. In that video, there were some really cool TRUE examples of ways that God has worked to bring couples together. Also, check out their website, www.pureloveclub.com

**This guy and girl get married and come back from their honeymoon and the guy was like, "hey look at this photo album of a trip my family took to Europe when I was a kid!" They are looking through the album and the girl was like, "I went to Europe too when I was eight!" The guy asked the girl where she went, but she couldn't remember, so they were looking through the album and come to this picture of him sitting on the steps of a church with a whole bunch of strangers around. He goes to turn the page and the girl freaks out and says, "look at the girl sitting next to you!" and the guy was like "so what?" And she says, "that girl is me!" Sure enough, they were sitting side by side on the steps of the chuch when they were kids, total strangers. It was a gift from God for their wedding to show them that He had had His hand over them their whole life. =)

**This girl who is 14 wakes up in the middle of the night and has this feeling she needs to pray for her future husband, she has no idea what is going on, but she gets up and prays and then writes about it in her journal. She grows up and gets married and they were talking and she looks and him and says, "you know, when I was 14 I prayed for you, see I wrote it in my journal!" He was like, "hmm..cool..." and he looks at it and tells her that he had been keeping a journal at that same time. So he looks through his journal and gets to the page and stops and she is like, "what?" He looks at her and says, "on that day you were praying for me, I was in the war and the enemy crossed the line and everyone around me was killed. I was the only one spared." =)

**Here is another example from here in Clark, WY:
This girl that works around here and lives with my friend, Bridgett, was on catholicmatch.com a long time ago and this guy contacted her, but she just kind of blew it off and didn't think a thing of it. Then when she got here this other guy came and she couldn't figure out why he looked so familiar. They talk a bit and come to find out that it was the guy who had tried to contact her online years back. God brought them from different sides of the country to this little tiny town to bring them together (guess God is persistent when He has a plan! :))
