Yesterday I finally got to go fishing! Virginia and I went with Fr. Mark who had some connections to private land with rivers rarely fished. Fr. Mark is NEVER late so we were running through Wal-Mart (the only store around here) to get a pole and license quick and then we were off! I rode in the back of the truck with Bosco (Fr. Mark's black lab who happens to be even more hyper than Katmai.) We waded (or something like that) through a bunch of different pools, trying not to slip too bad and not break any toes in our Chacos. I didn't catch anything (though Virginia and Fr. Mark did) but just getting out there on the river was great!
