Ann is coming to Trinity!

This weekend I was excited to have Ann and Thomas come to visit the ranch and have some new company to hang out with. Even better, Ann was offered a job here and accepted and so will become the newest staff member in less than a month. It will be great to have an old friend a part of my "new life." We went to the old abandoned school house and played on the play ground. It has a GREAT merry-go-round that I am sure is now outlawed in new schools, but still works perfect! I also couldn't resist going through the broken window and seeing what was inside. It ended up being basically a bunch of local's place to store things, but it was fun to explore and make up stories anyway. I always love wondering about the past in buildings like those. Then we went to Red Lodge (which has quickly become my favorite place to go on my days off.) We went hiking at Glacier Lake (though we didn't go on the trail at all) and my Subaru came through once again going down an 8 mile dirt road to get there. We then went to Sylvans (the outdoor store I seem to find myself at every weekend I have off) and Ann bought a pack. We also made a friend at the shop (the same guy finally recognized I keep coming in there...a bit embarassing, but oh well) and found out that he worked in Katmai for a few seasons and is from Michigan near where Becca is from! Weird! He also is a fly fishing guide and while he is not yet licensed in Montana, he offered to take us all fly fishing any time! Great hook up! We ended the night having pizza and beer at the bar where his girlfriend works....small town at its best!

cool. I'm sorry I missed her this summer at the wedding.

Sorry I haven't read up on you lately. I hope everything is going well.
