Reflections from "Rediscovering Catholicism" by Matthew Kelly

This book is a great read for just some direction in your life. It is simple and yet really makes you think. I forgot the journal that I had written quotes in from the book to put on here, but the one thing that stands out to me is that God is calling us to be the best version of ourselves. Our ultimate goal in life is to become saints, and that is not unattainable if only we follow the will of God. We can choose love or lust, love or gluttony, love or laziness, love or sin. We have that choice! It is incredable to see that as soon as the girls here decide they want to pray and let God take control of their lives, they move ahead in their progress at rapid speeds. It completely blows me away. At the same time, those who want to change but won't let God in their lives struggle much more. We have a choice to be happy and to be at peace-we just have to discern in our heart what God wants us to do in especially the little things while we serve others. I am learning a lot....and have a LONG way to go! Please continue to pray for a conversion of hearts here and the girls' desire to honestly change their lives and of course strength for the staff!
